Our Story
Seven Locks Baptist Church began as Seven Locks Baptist Mission in 1960 when Montrose Baptist Church purchased the 9.2–acre Francisco Farm, located at what is now the corner of Seven Locks and Post Oak Roads. The church originally met in the farm’s converted chicken coop. We still use “The Coop” for weekly meetings of our Boy Scout Troop. The property also holds the familiar white farmhouse which now serves as the church parsonage and offices, along with the present church building built in 1962.
