Help will be needed on Thursdays at 11:00 am to unload food boxes from vehicles, sort and shelve food. Help is also needed to distribute food to families in the afternoon and early evening. See Pastor Kyle

From Alma Morton “It breaks my heart to think that many children, even here in the US, would love to eat a simple piece of fruit, but because of poverty or hard times they will go to bed hungry. I think about the stories of when my very own family members, after the Spanish Civil War, knew hunger.

I praise God for the chance to make a difference through the food ministry at Seven Locks Baptist Church. I pray tonight there will be a precious child that goes to bed tonight with a full, happy tummy because of the work done by our food ministry. We get to be the hands and feet of Jesus. I am moved to tears to work with many beautiful people that care. What we eat matters. Children matter. Feed them well.”

Our desire is for youth to have an encounter with the Living God, which leads to a life changing relationship with Jesus Christ. This relationship inspires them into service, urges them to dig deeper into scripture, draw closer to the Creator, and encourages them to love with a Christ-like love.

We offer an Adult Bible study either in person or on-line via the Zoom meeting system, Sundays at 9:45 AM.

If you are unfamiliar with Zoom, just a few words of explanation:

1. It is a program (or “app”) that you must download and install on your Internet-connected device; where you get it depends on the type of computer or smart phone you will be using to participate in the session; contact us if you aren’t sure about how to get it working on your computer, tablet, or phone.
2. It can connect via audio or video, so if you don’t have a web camera on your device, have a limited connection speed or restrictions on the amount and/or cost of data for your Internet service, you can still choose the audio only connection.
3. You will need to use a meeting ID and password to connect to the meeting; these will be sent to you by email each week approximately 24 hours before the meeting time.
